It Ain’t Easy Asking for Help
Dear iStock, can you please add more “sad, yet pensive looking children” to your library? And if they can be cute and have books around them, that would be a huge help.
We are all avid readers here at Door No. 3 Design. Well…most of us anyway. Hank gets frustrated when there are not enough pictures and starts eating the pages. This is why he can’t have nice things…like a library card.
Our first project with Frederick County Public Library was to design a letter. Not just any letter…a direct mail “ask” letter. It’s never easy asking someone to support your cause or donate to your campaign, but FCPL gets it right. Lucky for us, the content was compelling on it’s own, and all we needed to do was support it with a strong layout and just the right images and graphics. Viola! A highly successful fundraising campaign was born along with an awesomely collaborative client relationship.
